展現英(ying)語風(feng)采，訴說微笑力量。5月18日(ri)下(xia)午，山(shan)東(dong)職業(ye)學院(yuan)(yuan)第一屆英(ying)語文化(hua)節(jie)開(kai)幕式暨(ji)“The Power of Smile”主題英(ying)語演(yan)講比賽在圖書館(guan)行(xing)政(zheng)樓東(dong)報告廳(ting)舉行(xing)，學院(yuan)(yuan)副院(yuan)(yuan)長郭鵬出席開(kai)幕式并致辭，基礎部(思(si)政(zheng)部)主任(ren)賈明(ming)斌、團委書記王(wang)偉、國際(ji)交(jiao)流(liu)中心(xin)主任(ren)呂子泉(quan)蒞臨比賽現場。
副(fu)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)長郭(guo)鵬在致辭(ci)中(zhong)指出(chu)，隨著我(wo)們(men)國家(jia)高鐵國際(ji)化(hua)戰略(lve)的(de)(de)推進實施和學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)建設優質高職院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)校的(de)(de)改(gai)革發展(zhan)，培養高素(su)質應(ying)用型人才(cai)目標中(zhong)學(xue)生英語(yu)應(ying)用水平凸(tu)顯重要性，此次(ci)隆重舉辦我(wo)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)第(di)一(yi)屆英語(yu)文(wen)化(hua)節目的(de)(de)就是為(wei)了進一(yi)步突出(chu)英語(yu)學(xue)習的(de)(de)重要性，鍛煉同學(xue)們(men)的(de)(de)英語(yu)口語(yu)及實際(ji)交流應(ying)用能力，營(ying)造(zao)(zao)學(xue)院(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)(yuan)濃厚的(de)(de)英語(yu)學(xue)習氛圍，為(wei)打造(zao)(zao)特色(se)學(xue)習型校園(yuan)進行(xing)的(de)(de)一(yi)次(ci)非(fei)常有益和有意義(yi)的(de)(de)嘗試。
本(ben)屆英語(yu)文化節歷時一個月，由基(ji)礎(chu)部(bu)、團委和國(guo)際交(jiao)流中心共同舉辦，是(shi)響應學(xue)院建(jian)設國(guo)內(nei)領先、國(guo)際先進的優質高(gao)職院校目(mu)標，通過開展英語(yu)演講比賽(sai)、英文歌曲大(da)賽(sai)、英語(yu)配(pei)音秀、英文海報比賽(sai)和英語(yu)角等系列(lie)主(zhu)題活(huo)動(dong)，旨在營(ying)造(zao)人人學(xue)習(xi)英語(yu)、用好(hao)英語(yu)的濃厚氛圍，提升大(da)學(xue)生的學(xue)英語(yu)、說英語(yu)、用好(hao)英語(yu)的水(shui)平，活(huo)動(dong)內(nei)容新(xin)穎豐(feng)富，貼近學(xue)習(xi)生活(huo)。
經(jing)過前期的(de)預賽，最終(zhong)有來(lai)自各系的(de)15位選手站上了(le)決(jue)賽的(de)舞(wu)臺(tai)，他們(men)圍(wei)繞“The Power of Smile”為主題展示英語演講(jiang)風(feng)采，他們(men)的(de)演講(jiang)或慷(kang)慨激昂、情感熱烈(lie)，或述說細膩(ni)、娓娓道來(lai)，加之(zhi)與外教Kim、Daleen的(de)現場互(hu)動問答(da)，贏(ying)得(de)了(le)臺(tai)下觀(guan)眾(zhong)的(de)陣(zhen)陣(zhen)掌聲(sheng)。經(jing)過激烈(lie)的(de)比(bi)拼，最終(zhong)張嘉琳、袁嘉賢、周(zhou)穎(ying)、曲昌、高雪菲(fei)5位同學榮獲了(le)此次比(bi)賽的(de)一等獎。
On the afternoon of May 18, the English Speech Contest entitled “The Power of Smile” launched the First English Culture Festival of Shandong Polytechnic, which was held in the East Lecture Hall. Guo Peng, vice president of the college, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. The distinguished guests present include Mr. Jia Mingbin, dean of the Department of General Studies; Mr. Wang Wei, secretary of the Communist Youth League; Mr. Lv Ziquan, director of the International Exchange Center.
Vice President Guo Peng emphasized the substantial role played by English in the cultivation of well-qualified graduates. We hold the English festival with the purpose of enhancing the application of English, strengthening the English studying atmosphere as well as creating an academic-featured campus, which is a beneficial and significant attempt.
The English Festival is co-sponsored by the Department of General Studies, the Youth League and the International Exchange Center, lasting for one month. This festival consists of an English speech contest, a singing competition, a dubbing show, cultural posters and a gala, which is innovative and close to daily use and college life.
There are 15 contestants participated in the final contest after rounds and rounds of fierce competition. They delivered their speech with varied styles, passionate, enthusiastic or delicate. Audience burst into applause now and then for the active interaction between the contestants and the foreign teachers. Eventually, 5 students got the first prize who are named Zhang Jialin, Yuan Jiaxian, Zhou Ying, Qu Chang and Gao Xuefei.
